Cottage Demolition Delayed!

The Trustees have put on hold the demolition of the cottages, probably for at least a few months. The church has been confronted with a potential, major HVAC system replacement for Kirk Hall. The cost involved with this replacement will be significant, which in turn dictates that the cottage demolition be held off until additional funding can be identified, either this fiscal year or next.
In preparation for the demo, our DIRT team did salvage two truckloads of reusable building components for Habitat for Humanity. The DIRT crew also salvaged copper and other reusable metals from the cottages.
