Both John and Cheryl hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Music Education. John has a Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance and Cheryl has an active music teaching certificate. Both have taught private clarinet and saxophone lessons for 30 years. They want their students to enjoy their instrument(s) and find their inner passion for music. Cheryl and John were principal clarinetists of the Westerville Civic Symphony at Otterbein College for 10 years and still play as needed. Both are resident professionals with the Otterbein College Musical Theatre Dept. They are noted musicians in the Columbus area at churches and high schools and are in the Bexley Meadows Concert Band.
John is an active member with, and Cheryl a past member of, the Columbus Federation of Musicians. |
