Please Note		Our Food Pantry feeds 40 families each week and could use your help.

How Many Families? How Much Food?		The CCPC Food Pantry Feeds roughly 40 families per week, using over 2500 lbs of food each week. Assuming 40 families of 4.5 people per family, 260 bags of food are given out to 180 people per week. The committment of time for our Volunteers to gather and distribute the food takes over 100 labor-hours per week.

		What Are the FOOD RESOURCES? The food pantry gets the largest amount of food (80%) from the Mid-Ohio Food bank. . Some of the food is free while most is available at a much reduced price from the Food Bank. A group of 12 – 15 volunteers unload the 4-6000 lbs of food and put it on the food pantry shelves. Other volunteers needed include those who bag the food for delivery and volunteers in the evening to give the food to the Food Pantry Clients. The food pantry receives food and support from the congregation in several ways including First Sundays and Miracle Mountain. Other CCPC groups involved include the CCPC College Ministry Team Food Drive; The CCCAcademy children; Presbyterian Women.
