Responsive Call to Worship: Psalm 100
Leader: Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
People: Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Leader: Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
People: Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
ALL: For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Ye Servants of God, Your Master Proclaim
Ye servants of God, your Master proclaim,
And publish abroad His wonderful name;
The name all victorious of Jesus extol;
His Kingdom is glorious, He rules over all.
God ruleth on high, almighty to save;
And still He is nigh–– His presence we have;
The great congregation His triumph shall sing,
Ascribing salvation to Jesus our King.
“Salvation to God, who sits on the throne,”
Let all cry aloud, and honor the Son;
The praises of Jesus the angels proclaim,
Fall down on their faces, and worship the Lamb.
Then let us adore, and give Him His right,
All glory and power, all wisdom and might;
All honor and blessing, with angels above,
And thanks never ceasing, and infinite love.
Unison and Silent Prayers of Confession
O Father, we are gathered before you, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, whose chosen dwelling place is with the broken and contrite, to confess that
we have sinned in thought and word and deed;
we have not loved you with all our heart and soul,
we have not loved you with all our mind and strength;
we have not even loved our neighbor as ourselves.
In your mercy, deepen our sorrow for the wrong we have done and for the good we have left undone, so that we may hate our sin with a holy hatred. But, please Father, do not leave us in sorrow. With you, O Lord, there is forgiveness. In your mercy, restore the joy of our salvation; so that we may love you with a holy love.
Response:O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing | Verse 4
My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim;
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name.
Message: Radical Hospitality (Isaiah 56:1-8)
Pastor Malcolm Davis
Grace Greater Than Our Sin
Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!
Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured,
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilled.
Refrain: Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin.
Sin and despair, like the sea waves cold,
Threaten the soul with infinite loss;
Grace that is greater, yes, grace untold,
Points to the refuge, the mighty cross.
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
You that are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive?
Offering: Beautiful Savior - tune:"Crusader's Hymn" from Schlesische Volkslieder
Ann Marie Robinson-pianist
Praise God from whom all blessing flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host:
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Closing Hymn: For All The Saints
For all the saints who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
O blessed communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
Yet all are one in Thee, for all are Thine.
From earth’s wide bounds, from ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host.
Singing to Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
