I have been attending Central College for about 15 years on the recommendation of my husband
David, who as a child romped at Buckeye Lake with the Ellsworth family. (Dave’s sister-in-law, Becky Snyder, is
an elder at Second Presbyterian Church in Newark where Rev has been preaching.) I am a retired Franklin
County Juvenile Court Magistrate (21 years) and former assistant prosecuting attorney (5 years). I was previously
a member of Rocky Ridge Grace Brethren Church in New Albany and am strongly scripture-oriented; therefore, I
found Central College a comfortable fit. I have been a happy participant as a Deacon and served in the Food
Pantry, Disciple classes, Stephen Ministry, Chancel Choir and in study groups. I love being outdoors and have
been a volunteer at Blendon Woods Metro Park for more than 30 years, still play tennis and ski, but have given my
motorcycle to my husband and now ride pillion. My greatest joy is being a useful instrument for God’s purpose
with the presence of the Holy Spirit and the Lord Himself.
