Meet Our Administrative Staff!
Hope Sattler is the Director of the Preschool at Central College Christian School. She has a BA in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and has over 20 years of experience working with preschool aged children and their families. Prior to working at CCCS, Hope worked at The Library of Congress Center in Washington, DC as a teacher and then Assistant Director for 6 years. Hope began her journey at CCCS in 2002 as a parent of 3 CCCS alumni; Jake, Kate, and Collin. She loved her experience at CCCS so much that she returned in 2006 to teach for 5 years and then work as the Assistant Director for 5 years, before becoming the Director of the Preschool in 2019. Hope loves spending time with her children and her 2 dogs, Daisy and Beckham. Preschool is her passion and she truly feels blessed to be a part of children’s development during this crucial yet magical time in their lives.
Stacy Cochran is the Preschool Program Coordinator at Central College Christian School. She has been with CCCS since 2016. She has 20 years of experience working with children from infants through school-aged children. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her hobbies include: listening to music, traveling, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Westerville with her son, Conner. Stacy believes in the importance of family involvement, developing the whole child, and putting God above all else in our lives. She feels blessed to be a part of the CCCS Preschool family. The love, unity, and sense of community is overwhelming here at CCCS. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
Lisa Montemarano has been on staff as the Administrative Assistant of the Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2019. She came to CCCS with 5 years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant in a Preschool setting. She feels extremely blessed to work with an amazing staff and to love on these children each day. Lisa has been married to Steve, her high school sweetheart since 1982. She has a grown son named Stephen, living in sunny Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and a newly married daughter, Jamie, who lives with her husband and son, Nolan, in Ohio. Lisa loves spending time with Nolan, is a Blue Jackets fan, and loves the beach.
Niki Clark has been working at Central College Christian School since 2000. She has taught here for 19 years and is now working in the office as the Extended Care and Billing Coordinator. Niki loves teaching but once her grandbabies arrived she decided it was time to teach them and work part time. She loves being a part of the CCCS family and loves the children that she has had the honor to teach. Niki enjoys spending time with her family, walking, riding bikes, playing games and gardening. Her favorite pastime is playing with her 3 precious grandchildren. Niki would be able to assist you with any billing questions and will be happy to guide you through our Extended Care programs.
Meet Our Teachers!
Tara Andrews began teaching at Central College Christian School in 2012. She has taught Moving On Up, 3 year olds, and 4/5 year olds. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science. Tara has been married to her husband since 2002. They have 2 children, Sydney and Evan. Tara enjoys spending time with family and friends and walking her dog Bruno.
Katie Brooks has been teaching preschool at Central College Christian School since 2018. Katie has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science with a specialization in Early Childhood Development and Education. Katie grew up in Westerville and graduated from Westerville South. She now resides in Westerville with her husband and 2 children. Prior to being on the Preschool staff at CCCS, Katie supported her family as a stay at home mom of two CCCS alumni. After 6 years of being a CCCS parent, and her youngest heading to kindergarten, Katie felt drawn to call CCCS home in a different way. She feels privileged and blessed to be on staff, fulfilling her education goals. When not in the classroom, Katie enjoys sporting events and the outdoors with her husband and children, visiting her mom and in-laws, reading, board games, and crafting.
Tim Barker has taught physical education for over 20 years in both Christian and public schools. Tim began teaching physical education classes for K-5th grade students here at Central College Christian School in 2015. Beginning in 2018, he also began teaching “Muscles” for Preschool. Tim’s greatest joy is sharing how God’s love can help students (and ALL of us) gain strength and make good decisions each day. He believes that teaching “Muscles”/Physical Education and the importance of healthy activity at CCCS is a true blessing. We know that a child is the apple of God’s eye. Psalm 17:8
Taylor Bronkar joined our staff in 2020. She attends Ohio Dominican University and is majoring in Education Studies. She looks forward to graduating in 2021. Taylor is also a cheerleader at ODU. She likes to spend time with her family and their cats and dogs.
Kyra Bryan began teaching Spanish in 2010. She has worked for Central College Christian School, teaching Spanish for Preschool through 5th grade since 2018. She says “I absolutely love teaching at CCCS!” She earned her Spanish degree and PK-12 licensure right here in Westerville at Otterbein University. She has 2 kitties that keep her busy. Kyra’s favorite things are: ice cream, chocolate, Spanish, hiking, seeing the animals at the zoo, laughing, eating Italian food, and helping her students learn!
Beth Canfield has been teaching preschool at Central College Christian School since 2002. She has been working with children since she graduated from High School. Prior to working at CCCS, Beth worked at The Ohio School for the Deaf as a Recreation Leader and has worked in other Early Childhood programs. Beth loves working with children. She especially enjoys the excitement and joy they bring to the classroom every day. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, spending time with her husband Keith, daughter Kayla, and son Daniel.
Chloe Delaney joined our staff at Central College Christian School in 2020. She is a sophomore at Ohio Dominican University. Chloe is studying Primary Education with a minor in art and business. Her favorite things to do are spend time with her family and her Boxer puppy and to be out in nature.
Kim Denney began teaching preschool at Central College Christian School in 2006. She has taught Muscles, 3 year olds, 4/5 year olds, Enrichment, and Moving On Up. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1996 with a degree in Marketing and International Business. Kim has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1996 and has 3 children: Alex, Riley, and Kyle. Kim enjoys attending her son’s sporting events, going to the gym, walking her dog Harley, and time with friends.
Joanne Durbin is a Columbus native and attended The Ohio State University where she earned a degree in Business, Marketing. She worked in several financial institutions in management before starting her family. Joanne went back to school when her youngest was in kindergarten and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has taught in the primary grades for 11 years. She has been teaching Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2018. She feels blessed to be able to teach young children and encourage them to learn in a fun and loving environment. Joanne has 3 children and resides in Galena with her husband and her Lab named ZuZu. Joanne enjoys traveling, gardening, paddle boarding, and reading during her free time.
Becca Evans began teaching preschool at Central College Christian School in 2017. After studying Psychology in college, she enjoyed a wonderful career working with adults at the Department of Developmental Disabilities. After getting married and starting a family, Becca started a small business creating art. As a Central College parent of 2 precious girls, she was in awe of Central College School. Her children have benefited endlessly from the love, kindness, values, and academic excellence they have received in Preschool through 5th grade. Joining the teaching family at CCCS has been an incredible blessing for Becca.
Anna Faust joined the Central College Christian School teaching staff in 2020. She is currently a senior at the University of Cincinnati. Anna is majoring in Communication Science and Disorders with a minor in Early Childhood Education and Development. She plans to get her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In her free time Anna loves attending cycling classes or hiking the local trails.
Wendy Flores has been teaching Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2019. She has had many years of experience teaching preschool aged children. Wendy was born in Honduras and came to live in the USA in 1999 and moved to Ohio in 2002. She is married to her husband, George and has 3 children: Ernesto, Esteban, and Ezequiel. She was also recently promoted to grandma! She loves to play with the children, read books, sing songs, and build with Legos!
Nancy Fry has been teaching at Central College Christian School since 2000. Nancy has a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Fashion merchandising. After a few years of working in the fashion industry, she decided teaching was her real calling. She then went back to school to get her teaching certificate. Her favorite things to do with preschoolers are to sing, dance and read stories. She has previously taught kindergarten and 2nd grade prior to her many years here at CCCS. She married her husband, Harry, in 1988. They live in Westerville. Their family includes 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 3 young granddaughters. She also has 2 dogs: Velvet and Rudy. Nancy likes to read, sew, knit, and watch Ohio State and Bowling Green State University football.
Amy Glorioso has been a preschool teacher at Central College Christian school since 2012. Amy loves teaching 4/5 year olds and every year is so excited to meet her next class. Amy is an alumna of The Ohio State University where she earned degrees in Psychology and Criminology. She has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1997. They live in Westerville and have 2 sons, Jacob and Zachary. Amy loves anything Ohio State, especially TBDBITL, as well as spending time with family and friends. Amy believes the best way to learn is through laughter, love, and getting a little messy along the way.
Hannah Gorsuch is new to teaching at Central College Christian School this year, and she attended preschool here as a child! Hannah enjoys singing in the worship band. She is currently studying at Ohio Dominican University for Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Hannah is a proud aunt and dog mom. Hannah hopes to continue to teach at Central College Christian School when she graduates in 2023. Hannah feels called by God to be teaching in such an amazing school. Psalm 46:10~ Be still and know that I am God, and through it all, she has been still.
Erin Hall has over 8 years of experience working with children. In addition to teaching, she has also enjoyed being a caregiver for several families and consequently, has helped children grow and explore new ideas and interests. Erin graduated from the University of Findlay, where she met her husband, Chad. Her 3 children: Noah, Grace, and Luke keep them very busy. In her free time Erin loves to run and compete in races throughout Ohio.
Ruth Janszen joined the teaching staff at Central College Christian School in 2020. She says her job is “the best”! I get to read, play games, and interact with precious children. In her spare time, she loves to garden, cook, and hang out with her wonderful family and friends.
Jen Martin has been teaching preschoolers at Central College Christian School since 2009. She has worked both as the Muscles teacher and a classroom teacher. Jen started and has run the CCCS Preschool Fun Run since 2010. She graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Family Studies/Child Development. Jen has worked in the Early childhood field in different capacities for over 20 years. She lives in New Albany with her husband Kevin, 3 children Devin, Ella, and Bryn, and dog Kobe. When she isn’t teaching she enjoys running outside, doing yoga, reading, and watching her children at their various activities.
Angie Merrin has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2005. She graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and earned a Master’s degree in Education from The Ohio State University. After teaching preschool for 6 years, she stayed home with her 3 daughters. Angie resides in Westerville with her husband, 3 girls, and her 2 dogs. She is excited to be teaching preschool at Central College Christian School, where she has taught since 2018.
Barb O’ Brien has been teaching Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2000. Barb graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Child and Family Services, specializing in Early Childhood Education. Prior to teaching at CCCS, Barb taught and was the Assistant Director of a preschool in Chicago, Illinois. Barb moved to the Columbus area many years ago with her husband John, and their 3 children. She has many interests, first and foremost spending time with her family, especially her 4 grandchildren. Barb loves to run and has completed 6 Columbus half marathons. She is an avid Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Cubs fan.
Jessica Stewart has been teaching Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2018. She has 3 years of prior teaching experience. She has never been more convinced that she is exactly where God intends her to be! She has been married to her husband since 2003. They have 2 amazing children. Jessica has a Bachelor’s degree from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York . After enrolling her daughter in Preschool at CCCS years ago, she watched her child grow spiritually, socially, and academically; Jessica fell in love with this school! At the same time, she felt God tug on her heart to make a career change from the business world to educating young minds. Jessica is so happy she took the leap of faith! She is honored to be a part of this amazing group of people who come together every day and love all of the little ones who walk through our doors.
Misty Sutton has been teaching Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2019. She has taught both preschool and kindergarten in the past and has over 10 years of experience working with young children prior to teaching at CCCS. Misty has her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She and her husband, Justin, have 4 children. The Suttons also have 3 dogs: Benny, Zoey and Piper. Misty really enjoys spending time with her family, reading, DIY projects, beach trips and photography.
Mary Tucker has been working with preschool children for over 20 years. She has been a Preschool Teacher at Central College Christian School since 2015. Mary is a graduate of Longwood University in Virginia. She lives in Westerville with her husband John. They have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren, and they love visiting them all. She enjoys going back to Virginia to spend time with her extended family and enjoy the mountains and the ocean. In her spare time, she loves to read, cook, and volunteer at her church.
Linda White has been a part of the Central College Christian School family since 1993. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University. Her earlier experiences were: teaching 4th grade, substitute teaching, and in-home daycare while raising her children. Beginning in 1993, Linda began her journey at CCCS; she taught preschool for 6 years, then taught 1st grade for 9 years. After that, she became the Administrative Assistant for K-5 wing of CCCS for an additional 9 years. In 2017, Linda returned to teaching preschool at CCCS. She is widowed with 4 children and 10 grandchildren. She enjoys reading, swimming, traveling and spending time with family.
Heidi Williams has been working with preschoolers since 2004 after 10 years of working in Corporate America. She has been teaching at Central College Christian School since 2016. She attended Bowling Green State University where she met her husband, Keith. They reside in Westerville with their 2 children, Caleb and Lily and their dog Hershey. Lily is a CCCS Preschool graduate. Heidi likes to read, make crafts, and watch her children play sports. As a family, they are avid skiers. Heidi is a ski instructor on the weekends, working with children in the downhill racing program. She is thankful that she has found such an amazing family with CCCS.
Margaret Wood has been teaching Preschool at Central College Christian School since 2000. She has taught Moving On Up, 3 year olds, Enrichment, and 4/5 year olds. Margaret grew up in Boston and graduated from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Margaret and her husband Mark live in Westerville and have 3 daughters. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, and the Boston Red Socks.
Leslie Zepeda began working at Central College Christian school in 2020. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2016. Leslie is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Columbus State Community College. She only has 2 classes left to earn her Associate’s degree. Leslie is creative and enjoys, writing, music, and the arts which she tries to bring into the classroom whenever possible. At home she has her 2 children, her husband, and their 4 cats.
