Ash Wednesday | February 18, 2026 | 7:00pm

On February 18, we begin the season of Lent not just with ashes, but with an act of release.

Lent begins with honesty. We arrive carrying things we were never meant to carry alone—regret, grief, fear, exhaustion, questions, and the quiet weight of everyday life. This Ash Wednesday service is designed to help us name what we are holding, place it in God’s hands, and step into the season of repentance and renewal with open hands instead of clenched ones.

Throughout the evening, we will move through a series of meaningful practices that guide us from burden to surrender:

  • The Ritual of the Suitcase — a physical opportunity to write down and “lock away” what you are carrying

  • Sacred Music — hymns such as O Sacred Head, Now Wounded alongside songs from Matt Maher and Casting Crowns

  • The Imposition of Ashes — the traditional reminder of our mortality and God’s everlasting mercy

  • The Shrouding — a visual conclusion as we leave what we carry in the wilderness and begin the journey of Lent together

Join us at 7:00 pm for a night of silence, song, and surrender.
