Create Connections, Make The Kingdom Visible
The mission and vision of Central College Church is “to make the Kingdom of God visible,” but what does that mean? It’s a big question, but also one with a simple answer: Finding ways to give back and provide for others—whether it’s local, regional, or global—is the heart of the Central College mission. Volunteering is a major way in which we make the #KingdomVisible.
For more information on volunteering, either contact our Connections Director Nate Rector via email by clicking here or contact our main office at email@ccpc.us or by phone at 614-882-2347. Here’s just a few examples around Central College of how our brothers and sisters are making a difference. Some ministries below will have direct contact information that is more specific than the front offices.
Greeters, Ushers, Sunday School volunteers, parking lot attendees, and even audio/visual help, there are a number of places in which to help out on Sundays at Central College Church.
Sunday Support
Includes roles such as setting up for before and after services and events, helping support food services for monthly gatherings, or even just helping to make the coffee.
Hospitality
Chancel choir, orchestra, worship teams, and more. If you have a song in your heart (or even if you can’t read sheet music) then come find out how Central College can best let you sing it out loud.
Worship/Music Ministry
Small group helpers, kiosk greeters, prayer coordinators, nursery caregivers, Vacation Bible School, and more. There are many ways to assist in children’s ministry, but on Sundays and throughout the week.
Children’s Ministry
Adult study resource assistance, LIFE groups leaders, Christian education, and becoming a leader in the church. Get in touch if you’re looking for ways to shepherd the flock.
High school, middle school, youth night assistance, and Sunday School teaching. Central College Youth Ministry exists to ignite a passion for Christ in students that will last a lifetime.
