Kingdom Impact

Stories and Successes In Outreach and Ministry

What Is Kingdom Impact?

IMG_1580.jpg

Our mission and vision at Central College Church is ‘Making the Kingdom of God visible.” But what does that mean?

The teachings and lessons of Jesus Christ are meant to convey empathy, compassion, and a love of thy neighbor, so when Central College says we’re making the #KingdomVisible, it means that we’re bringing the love of God to every corner of His Kingdom.

Kingdom Impact is the stories and moments that create chances for Central College to inspire, communicate, corroborate, and bring betterment to our brothers and sisters. This includes helping our own Partners and parishioners tell their own stories of coming to the Glory of God, helping others, and living out the gospel in daily life.

Find Our Food Pantry

The Central College Food Pantry Feeds roughly 40 families per week, using over 2500 lbs. of food each week. Assuming 40 families of 4.5 people per family, 260 bags of food are given out to 180 people per week. Click below for more information on how you can make in impact.

Finding Kingdom Impact

This year will see Central College beginning to roll out and tell its stories of living out the gospel and Kingdom Impact, and here is where you can follow along.

Recent Stories of Kingdom Impact

Jingle Jam

Over 75 families came together in late November for our new, yearly Jingle Jam family Advent and Christmas event, helping to ring in the holiday season in style. This festive afternoon of music, food, games, and more was also an opportunity for families to sign up for this year’s Adopt-A-Child Deacon’s mission, in which 450 children in total were adopted.

J Jireh Ministries Collaboration

Central College Youth Ministry did a recent downtown cleanup in connection with J Jireh Ministries. There were four other churches that came together to clean up trash alongside the sidewalk, street, and field area down along Main St. The cleanup work was to help improve the visual condition for the surrounding neighborhood members to attend the "Love Fest" later that night. Our work was more of a behind the scenes event to help the evening programing (music, food, entertainment, and gospel presentation) go off beautifully. The students did a great job being the hands and feet of Jesus!

 Medical Debt Fulfillment

RIP Medical Debt is a nonprofit group that empowers donors to forgive billions in oppressive medical debt. They are dedicated to removing the burden of medical debt for individuals and families and veterans across America, and in that regard, so is Central College Church.

Recent contributions made by the church has succeeded in abolishing $1,314,762.40 of medical debt for 937 individuals in Fulton County, Georgia, attributing the relief to True Light Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

By liberating our fellow man and woman from the shackles of oppressive, sometimes insurmountable debt, we enable them to live their lives to the fullest and understand the awesome power of loving thy neighbor in the spirit of Jesus Christ.

And that is #KingdomImpact.
