Pastor Malcolm Davis
Senior Pastor

As Lead Pastor, Malcolm is committed to pursuing Jesus’ model of servant leadership (Matthew 20:25-28), where leading first and foremost means supporting and freeing others to discover and use their God given gifts and passions to make the Kingdom of God visible. His greatest joy time and again is seeing God accomplish far more than we could ever ask or imagine, and when Christ followers dare to trust God enough to trust the Holy Spirit at work in one another. His love for Christ’s Church throughout 30 years of ministry in Chicago, Phoenix, and Westerville comes from his firm belief that it is God’s primary means of accomplishing his purposes on earth and proclaiming the astonishing good news of His love for us in Jesus.

Malcolm and his wife Laurie have three grown children, a daughter earning her Ph.D. at UCLA and twin sons pursuing degrees here in Columbus at the Fischer School of Business. “O-H!” After raising their kids in Westerville, they’ve settled on five wooded acres ten miles to the north in Sunbury.

Rev. David M. Redding
Associate Pastor, Congregational Care and Nurture

David’s ministry began at Liberty Church in Powell, Ohio where he served among the youth and young adults. He has been on the pastoral staff at Central College Church since the early 1990s. As David said recently, “The line from the Church Mission Statement that really resonates with me is: Living out the Gospel by: Reflecting the Love of Jesus. It speaks to me and I think gets at the heart of what I believe I’m called by God to do in the precious time he’s given to me.”

David serves Central College Church through personal relationships, prayer, and worship. He regularly visits and facilitates personal interactions in homes, hospitals, retirement communities, and health centers. David guides volunteers in several ministries including Stephen Ministries, Care Callers, Elder Shepherds, and Senior Adult Ministry.

David and his wife Bobbie have three children: Ally, Ian, and Cam, who all grew up in the Church..
